The Integrated Photonics Laboratory in International Quantum Academy Achieves Major Progress in Broadband Dispersion Control of Silicon Nitride Photonic Chips
Recently, the Integrated Photonics Laboratory in International Quantum Academy, together with collaborators, made major progress in understanding broadband dispersion control in silicon nitride photonic chips. For the first time, the team systematically established the physical link between residual hydrogen, broadband material dispersion, and phase matching in nonlinear microresonators. The work, entitled "Kramers—Kronig causality in integrated photonics: The spectral tension between ultraviolet transition and midinfrared absorption," was published in Physical Review Letters on September 22, 2026.
Advances in Antimagnon Research by Jilei Chen's Group at the International Quantum Academy and Collaborators
Jilei Chen's group at the IQASZ, Shenzhen, in collaboration with the groups of Prof. Pietro Gambardella at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, Prof. Rembert A. Duine at Utrecht University, the Netherlands, and Prof. Haiming Yu at Beihang University, has reported advances spin-orbit-torque-driven antimagnons.
Quantum Simulation: Observation of Exact Quantum Critical States
Recently, Superconducting Quantum Computing team of SZIQA, together with the team of Prof. Xiong-Jun Liu from the Center for Quantum Materials Science, School of Physics, Peking University, experimentally observed and characterized exact quantum critical states for the first time using programmable superconducting qubits. By realizing a quasiperiodic mosaic model, the team revealed the universal mechanism underlying these states—namely, incommensurately distributed zeros—and observed an anomalous mobility edge separating critical and localized states.
A Major Breakthrough in Silicon-Based Quantum Computing! Chinese Team Achieves First "Full-Stack" Operations on Logical Qubits
Shenzhen International Quantum Academy has, for the first time in the world, implemented "full-stack" logical operations—from universal logical gates to quantum algorithm demonstrations—on a silicon-based quantum processor, which is a prototype of the logical quantum computer in silicon.
Superconducting quantum team at Shenzhen International Quantum Academy realizes logical multi-qubit entanglement with dual-rail superconducting qubits
Recently, a team led by Researcher Youpeng Zhong and Academician Dapeng Yu at the Shenzhen International Quantum Academy achieved a major breakthrough in superconducting quantum computation by realizing logical multi-qubit entanglement based on dual-rail encoding for the first time. The results, entitled “Logical multi-qubit entanglement with dual-rail superconducting qubits,” were published online in Nature Physics.
